Das Camp 2023 rückt näher. Villages, was habt ihr vor? Coolen F00, der auch noch nachhaltig ist und weiterverwendet werden kann? Wir sind schon gespannt, wie das Chaos sich eine Gesellschaft von morgen vorstellt.
Bauten
Auch dieses Jahr wollen wir wieder eine Veranstaltung, die für alle sicher ist. Daher solltet ihr eure Pläne frühzeitig mit der Village-Orga besprechen, insbesondere bei großen Villages und aufwendigen Bauten. Bei Überdachungen größer als 75 m² oder Bauten mit mehr als 5 m Höhe ist z. B. eine Genehmigung erforderlich. Bauten müssen so konstruiert sein, dass sie keine Brandquelle sind. Teilt uns in eurer Anmeldung mit, wenn ihr Größeres vor habt.
Fahrzeuge
Autos oder ähnliche Fahrzeuge gehören im Allgemeinen nicht in die Villages. Ausnahmen gibt es für Fahrzeuge, die integraler Bestandteil des Village sind, also nicht nur zum Schlafen dienen. Beispiele wäre z. B. ein mobiler Hackspace in einem Bus, ein Wasserwerfer mit Demonstrationshintergrund oder ein Auto, dessen CAN-Bus gerade gehackt wird. Das Openhardwareprojekt mit aktiver Entwicklung auf dem Camp ist gerne gesehen (nach bestätigter Anmeldung), ein cooler Eigenbau alleine reicht nicht aus.
Nix buddeln, keine größeren Erdnägel
Wie beim letzten Mal sind keine Löcher, Gruben oder Unterkellerungen erlaubt. Es liegen noch immer diverse Leitungen, die unzureichend dokumentiert und niedrig versenkt sind, auf dem Gelände. Plant also bitte ohne lange Erdnägel und Heringe und versenkt diese nicht tiefer als 25 cm im Boden.
Village Shop
Wie letztes Mal wird es wieder einen Shop für Villages geben, wo ihr Großraumzelte, Sitzgelegenheiten, Gas etc. zentral bestellen könnt, statt dass alle von euch diese Dinge quer durch’s Land transportieren oder ihr alles einzeln woanders mieten müsst. Wir arbeiten außerdem daran, dass es gemeinschaftliche Kühlfächer geben wird. Sobald wir dazu mehr wissen, werden wir euch informieren.
Küchen, Wasser
Villages dürfen für die Selbstversorgung eine Küche betreiben. (Evtl. Add-on: Wir empfehlen, dass die Hauptverantwortlichen der Küche ein Frikadellendiplom vorweisen können. Eventuell nötige Erstunterweisungen können auch beim Camp gemacht werden, Details folgen.) Zum Kochen darf aus Brandschutzgründen nur Strom oder Gas verwendet werden, kein offenes Feuer. Solltet ihr Wasser für eure Küche benötigen, teilt uns dies gerne mit – bereitet euch aber darauf vor, dass ihr mit Bollerwagen und Wassercontainern arbeiten müsst.
Musik und anderer Krach
Musik ist toll. Aber nicht immer, und nicht in jeder Lautstärke. Je nach Ort auf dem Gelände können wir unterschiedlich laut sein. Sagt uns am besten Bescheid, wenn ihr mit eurem Village (auch mit anderem Krach) über Lounge-Lautstärke hinaus oder lieber in eine ruhigere Ecke wollt. Wenn ihr einen komplett stillen Campingplatz erwartet, werdet ihr auf dem Camp allerdings enttäuscht werden. Es handelt sich immer noch um eine Open-Air-Veranstaltung und nicht um idyllischen Natururlaub auf der Berghütte.
Generell gilt: Achtet auf eure Mitmenschen und nehmt gegenseitig auf euch Rücksicht, damit wir alle eine schöne Zeit haben.

Dort haben wir einen Fragebogen für euch zusammengestellt. Je genauer ihr die Fragen beantworten könnt, desto leichter macht ihr uns die Planung und erspart euch Nachfragen. Wenn eure Anmeldung akzeptiert wurde, bekommt ihr den Zugang zum Village-Shop für Zelte, Tische, Stühle etc.
Aktualisert eure Daten auch gerne regelmäßig nach der Anmeldung, insbesondere wenn sich an eurer Größe etwas ändert.

Camp 2023 is getting closer – villages, what’s your plan? Cool f00 that is sustainable and reusable? We can’t wait to find out how Chaos envisions a society of tomorrow.
Structures
Once again this year, we want an event that is safe for everyone. Please discuss your plans with the village coordinators early on, especially for large villages and elaborate structures. For example, a permit is required for canopies larger than 75 square metres or structures taller than 5 metres. Structures must be constructed in such a way that they are not a fire hazard. Let us know in your application if you have bigger plans.
Vehicles
Cars or similar vehicles generally do not belong in the villages. Exceptions are made for vehicles that are an integral part of the village, i.e. not just for sleeping. Examples would be a mobile hackspace in a bus, a water cannon with a protest background or a car whose CAN bus is being hacked. An open hardware project with active development on the camp is welcome (after confirmed registration), a cool DIY project alone is not enough.
No digging, no large earth nails
Like last time, no holes, pits or sub-basements are allowed. There are still various pipes and cables that are just below the surface and insufficiently documented. So please plan without long ground nails and pegs and do not sink them deeper than 25 cm into the ground.
Village Shop
Like last time, there will be a store for villages where you can order large tents, seating, gas, etc. centrally instead of all of you having to transport these things across the country or rent everything individually somewhere else. We are also working on having community coolers. As soon as we know more about this, we will let you know.
Kitchens, Water
Villages are allowed to run a kitchen for self-catering. (Possible add-on: we recommend that the main person in charge of the kitchen has a basic food safety certificate [“meatball diploma”]. Any initial training that may be required can also be done at camp, details to follow.)
For fire safety reasons, only electricity or gas may be used for cooking, no open fires.
If you need water for your kitchen, please let us know – but be prepared to use hand trucks and water containers.
Music and other noise
Music is great. But not always, and not at any volume. The permitted volume depends on the location. It’s best to let us know if you want your village (including any other noise) to be above lounge volume, or if you’d rather be in a quieter corner. If you are expecting a completely silent campsite though, you will likely be disappointed at the camp. It is still an open air event and not an idyllic nature vacation in a mountain hut.
In general: pay attention to your fellow human beings and take care of each other so we will all have a good time.

We have put together a form for you there. The more precisely you can answer the questions, the easier it will be for us to plan and save you from having to ask further questions. If your registration is accepted, you will get access to the village shop for tents, tables, chairs etc..
Remember to update your data regularly after registration, especially if your village size changes.
