I’m 20, he’s 21. We met on a dating app, and called over the phone a couple times. Now we have a date planned tomorrow, but I want to make sure I get him hooked on me. I’ve been trying to match his energy and it’s easy to do over the phone but sometimes when we text it’s like holy fuck I cannot predict a single thing he says. Once, I told him I had a surprise gift for him, and he asked me if it was a dead fetus of all things, and then he went on to daydream of the times he’s encountered dead fetuses in jars, telling me how cool he finds them.

He also creates a lot of gore art. And it’s freakishly realistic, it’s all he makes, and is what brings him joy. Plus he told me he is constantly breaking a guys windows for fun and that guy wants to kill him because of that and is actively looking for him with a shotgun in a truck.

So clearly this man is unhinged. Which I love and find him extraordinary and fascinating for that. But when I make advances on him, he seems unfazed? Like I know how to pull a regular sane person, but this guy seems insane. It’s like, figuratively, when I move a chess piece (flirt with him) to see if I can check him and possibly mate with him, he ends up responding with not by moving a chess piece, but instead by unexpectedly (this is still an analogy, this didn’t happen) flipping the board upside down and carving creepy symbols on it and summoning a demon.

Ok. One idea I have is to try to be as unpredictable and freaky as possible, just like he is? To get him hooked on me? He obviously is indifferent to blood so what if I prick my finger and wipe my blood all over his mouth? How does one match a freaks energy and get them hooked on you? Maybe I should break his windows.
